What is danskore?

danskore is an Elite performing group for dancers who are interested in more performance opportunities and are currently taking Ballet, Jazz and or Tap at a competitive level.  danskore dancers will learn a Lyrical and Theatrical piece during the summer Intensive and in their danskore class throughout the year.  These groups will compete at all 3 competitions dansko has entered for the season as well as any other performance opportunities that come along throughout the year.

danskore 1 Requirements - x2 Jazz, x2 Ballet, Tap and 2 additional classes and danskore class

All danskore groups are required to attend the danskore Summer Intensive

What is Hip Hop Crew?

“Crew” is for dancers who have a passion for dance and have been training in Hip Hop for a minimum of 2 years.  It is highly recommended that “Crew” dancers enrol in additional dance classes to enhance their skills.  Hip Hop Crew 1, 2 and 3 dancers will compete in all 3 competitions dansko has entered for the season.  Crew may also have more performance opportunities that come along throughout the year.

Crew 3 Competitive 3 Requirements -  1 Hip Hop Crew class, 1 Hip Hop technique class + 2 additional classes

Crew 2 Competitive 3 Requirements - 1 Hip Hop Crew class, 1 Hip Hop technique class + 2 additional classes

Crew 1 Competitive 3 Requirements - 1 Hip Hop Crew class, 1 Hip Hop technique class + 2 additional classes

Crews 1, 2 and 3 are required to attend the Group Choreography Weekend September 5th, 6th and 7th Times TBA

Crew 4 Competitive 1 Requirements - 1 Hip Hop Crew class, 1 Hip Hop technique class + 1 additional Hip Hop class

Competitive 1 classes will compete in 1 local competition, dansko’s Competitive Showcase and dansko Performs 2026!
